Xiaomi generates hype in almost every move it makes. Flash sales which loosen their inventories by tens of thousands and leaving fans for more. This Apple aping company seems to thrive on angering its opponents yet thrilling its Mi-fens, its avid fan base.
While Lei Jun, its founder says Xiaomi does not copy pple, the facts prove different. His product design, image and even the way he portrays himself to the world seems to be in the likeness of Jobs.
Perhaps the most telling and or spooky thing is how Lei Jun essentially predicated the rise on Xiaomi with the death of Steve Jobs. Now that is just plain creepy.
