Microsoft is giving a free copy of the latest version of Windows to all Chinese currently running pirated versions thereof. With 90% of mainland computers using the knockoff, that’s is quite a hit for Microsoft. But then again, we who pay for Windows subsidize Chinese theft.
Now the communist part has convinced them to work with Lei Jun, apparently.

Xiaomi can be considered to be an enigma among those who are living in the US, since the company has just opened up an online store, but did not place their smartphones up for sale, selling only accessories at the moment. Having said that, it is interesting to note that the Xiaomi Mi 4 Windows 10 ROM is said to be rolling out later this 1st of June – which is just a couple of days away, actually.

3-Hands on & First Impressions of the Xiaomi Mi 4i
While at Google I/O, we got the chance to meet with Xiaomi and see what’s new. Which includes the Xiaomi Mi 4i. Which is their “mid-range flagship” according to the company’s CEO. Which I think is pretty accurate. The biggest thing about the Mi 4i is that it’s a compact smartphone, with a huge battery inside. It feels a lot like the Nexus 5, actually with it’s polycarbonate back.
