On Friday, Xiaomi, the leading Chinese smartphone maker announced a reduction in the price of its 2014 flagship smartphone, the Mi 4 64GB variant in India. The smartphone is now Rs. 4,000 cheaper than its original launch price.
4-Redmi 2A Smartphone News: Priced at $80, Redmi 2A is Cheapest Xiaomi Handset
Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi announced the Redmi 2A handset in March and now people can acquire it in China. While the Xiaomi Redmi 2 comes with a price tag of $115 (713 yuan in the local market), the company has priced the Redmi 2A more economically at only $80 (499 yuan), thereby making the device the cheapest Xiaomi handset in the market.
